Monday, January 21, 2008 Bikers Raise Money for Breast Cancer Patients Hundreds of bikers rolled into Orlando Sunday to raise money for a good cause. It was all part of the 5th annual Ribbons for Life event. The Chrome Angels of Central Florida, a women's motorcycle club, organized the event to raise money for breast cancer patients. Riders braved the chilly and windy weather to ride from New Smyrna Beach and St. Cloud to Orlando. Those that took part said it’s worth it since you usually don't have to go far to find someone affected by the disease. "We have a lot of people, as I said, touched by breast cancer. You know either mothers, sisters, wives, daughters, so you know we have a lot of people come in their cars and trucks just to support the event because they know we do good things," said Jessi Sills from the Chrome Angels of Central Florida. The ride was expected to raise well over $10,000. Pink Ribbons Event featured in Magazines...
